Arrival to Ben Gourion airport where you will be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel.  Overnight Jerusalem.

Thursday Jerusalem - Old City
Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city; visit the Church of All Nations, King David's Tomb and Room of Last Supper on Mt. Zion. Enter the Old City; walk through the Cardo, the ancient Roman road; visit the Jewish and Christian quarters; view the Tempe Mount; walk along the Via Dolorosa and the oriental Bazaar to visit the Church of Holy Sephulchre.

Next, drive to the Garden Tomb and enjoy the beautiful gardens and peaceful ambiance. Overnight in Jerusalem

Friday Jerusalem – New City and Bethlehem
Drive to Ein Karem to visit the Church of Visitation; proceed to Yad Vashem, the memorial to the Holocaust; Visit the Israel museum, the Shrine of the Book, where the Dead Sea scrolls are housed,  and the miniature model of Jerusalem as it was during the Second Temple period.
Proceed to Bethlehem*, birthplace of Jesus; visit Shepherds' field; walk through Manger Square to visit the remarkable Church of Nativity. Return to Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem

Saturday Qumeran / Massada / Dead Sea
Drive through the Judean Hills to Qumeran Caves, where the Dead Sea scrolls were found; Continue along the shores of the Dead Sea to Massada, the last stronghold of the Jews after the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 A.D; ascend Massada by cable car and tour the mountain fortress built by King Herod; visit the remains of the walls, water cistern and Herod's Palace; descend by cable car.

Continue to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth; enjoy the opportunity to float in the unsinkable water and cover yourself with the mineral rich mud, believed to have therapeutic effects. Return to Jerusalem for overnight

Sunday Beit Shean / Nazareth / Nazareth / Cana
Depart Jerusalem through the Jordan valley to Beit Shean; visit the newly excavated Roman city and amphiteatre. Proceed to Yardenit, the baptismal site on the Jordan River. Continue to Nazareth and visit the Church of Annunciation, Joseph's workshop and Mary's well. Next, drive to Cana to visit the Wedding Church, where Jesus performed his first miracle turning water into wine. Drive to Kibbutz Lavi for overnight

Monday Tiberias / Capernaum / Tabgha / Banias
After a short tour of Tiberias, enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee; visit the Yigal Alon center where the "Jesus boat", an ancient fishing boat from the 1st century, is displayed. Continue to Capernaum to visit the remains of the 2nd century synagogue. Stop at Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of Fish and Loaves, and visit the Church of Multiplication with its 4th century mosaic floor. Proceed to Mount of Beatitudes, the place where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount. Drive to the Banias Springs and tour the Golan heights.

Return to Kibbutz Lavi for overnight

Tuesday Acre / Megiddo / Muhraka / Caesarea
Depart Kibbutz Lavi and drive to Acre to visit the remarkable underground Crusader City and crypt; walk through the Old City recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site, the local market and harbor. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; learn the impressive history of this battle field as you visit the archaeological excavations includeing the well-preserved water supply system. Drive to Muhraka, the site of confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal; enjoy the spectacular view of the Jezreel valley and the lower Galilee. Proceed to Caesarea, once the Roman capital of the region; visit the excavations of the ancient city, the Roman Theatre and aqueduct

Proceed to Muhraka, the site of confrontation between Elijah and the prophets of Baal; enjoy the spectacular view of the Jezreel valley and the lower Galilee. Continue to Megiddo, identified as the site of Armageddon; learn the impressive history of this battle field as you visit the archaeological excavations including the well-preserved water supply system. Onto Acre to visit the remarkable underground Crusader City and crypt; walk through the Old City recognized by UNESCO as World Heritage Site, the local market and harbor.

Leave Tel Aviv - via Ashdad, Ashkelon to Beersheba for a short visit to the Negev capital. Continue via Arad to Masada. Ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, Herod's palaces, the synagogue, bathhouse, etc. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea. Descend for a possible "float" in the salty water of the world's lowest place. Via Ein Gedi & Kalya, proceed to Jerusalem for overnight

Tuesday Jerusalem - sightseeing of the new city
Drive to Mt. Scopus for a panoramic view of Jerusalem. On to the Garden of Gethsemane and Church of the Agony. Continue to Israel Museum's Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea scrolls, then a visit to the beautifully renovated Model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Continue to Yad Vashen (the memorial to the six million Jews who were killed in the Holocaust) Afternoon visit to Ein Karem (the birth place of John the Baptist) Return to hotel

Wednesday Jerusalem - Old City - Bethlehem
Walk through one of the Gates to the walled Old City; the renewed Jewish Quarter; the Western Wall; the Temple area; the colorful bazaars; Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. In the afternoon continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and return to Jerusalem for overnight

Thursday Beit Shean - Tiberias - Galilee
Leave Jerusalem and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world, through the Jordan Valley and the new settlements to Beit Shean. Visit the excavations of this beautifully preserved Roman City. Proceed to Tiberias, the old center of Jewish learnign. Drive along the shores of the Sea of Galilee to Capernaum, to visit the ruins of the the ancient synagogue. Continue to a Kibbutz hotel for overnight

Friday Upper Galilee and Golan Heights - Nazareth
Drive to the Golan Heights. Visit the former Syrian fortifications and the Druze villages Via Banias, source of the Jordan River. Proceed via the Hula Valley to Safed, city of the Kabala, to visit a synagogue and the artists' colony and then to Nazareth to visit the Chrisitan Holy Sites. Return to the Kibbutz hotel for overnight

Saturday Acre - Haifa - Tel Aviv
After breakfast drive west to Acre for a visit of the old famous Crusader stronghold and medieval fortifications. Continue to Haifa, for a panoramic sightseeing tour of the city, including the Bahai Shrine, Persian Garden, Mount Carmel and Haifa Bay. Proceed along the coast to Caesarea to visit the Roman Theater and the Crusader fortress. End the day with a short city tour of Tel Aviv - Jaffa and overnight

Sunday Hussein Bridge or Allenby Bridge - Jerash - Amman
Drive from Tel Aviv and Jerusalem to the border crossing for procedures to enter Jordan. Proceed to Jerash - city of the Decapolis, located about 45km north of Amman in the fertile heights of the Gilad. Visit the ancient Roman city with colonnaded streets, the baths and the hill of the top Temple. Then drive to Amman for a city tour of the Jordanian Capital. Overnight in Amman Breakfast and transfer to Ben Gourion airport for departure.

Monday Amman - Petra
After early breakfast, leave the hotel and travel south on the road to Wadi Musa. Ride on horseback to the Siq (canyon) and then on foot to Petra known as "Sela Edom"or red rock city, the ancient capital of the Nabateans from 3rd century B.C. to 2nd Century A.D. Visit the most interesting monuments, such as the Treasury, El Khazneh, the field of tombs, obelisks and the altar, from this point you can view the whole of the rock city. Then back to Wadi Musa for overnight

Tuesday Petra - Madaba - Mount Nebo - Jerusalem - Tel Aviv
Drive to Madaba to see the ancient mosaic map of the Holyland and ruins of historical sites. Continue about 10kms, to Mount Nebo, from where Moses viewed the Promised Land. From there you will see the Jordan Valley, Jericho and the Dead Sea, etc. Visit the remains of a Byzantine church with a mosaic floor, and then drive to the border and transfer back to Jerusalem or Tel Aviv for overnight

22 Dec: Arrival Jerusalem
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport where you will be met by a representative. Transfer to Jerusalem and check into hotel for dinner and overnight.

23 Dec: Jerusalem
After a buffet breakfast drive up the Mount of Olives for a wonderful view of the Old City of Jerusalem.  Visit the Church of Dominus Flevit, the Pater Noster Church and then to the Garden of Gethsemane and the Church of All Nations.

Continue on to the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu built on the site of the house of the High Priest Caiphas. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

24 Dec: Jerusalem, Bethlehem
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast and spend the morning at leisure.

In the afternoon proceed to Bethlehem to participate in the Christmas Celebrations. Visit the sites in Bethlehem and the Shepherds Fields.

Enjoy dinner in this ancient city and experienceMidnight Christmas Mass at Manger Square.  Return to hotel for overnight.

25 Dec: Jerusalem

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

After a late breakfast enter the old city of Jerusalem. Visit the Church of St. Anne and the Pools of Bethesda.  Walk along the Via Dolorosa following the Stations of the Cross. Visit the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Visit the Western Wall and view the Temple Mount.

Visit Mount Zion, the Hall of the Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

26 Dec: Jericho, Dead Sea
Enjoy breakfast and then drive to Jericho, known to be the oldest town in the world. View the Mount of Temptation and the Sycamore Tree.

Passing Qumran, the site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered, proceed to the Dead Sea, where you can experience floating on these waters which have amazing healing powers. Return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

27 Dec: Jordan Valley, Tiberias
After a delicious breakfast drive along the Jordan Valley to Tiberius on the Sea of Galilee.  Visit the Mount of Beatitudes, where Jesus preached the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to Tabgha, the site of the Miracle of the Multiplication.

Visit Capernaum, where Jesus began his preaching career. Check into hotel in Tiberius for dinner and overnight.

28 Dec: Mount Tabor, boat ride, Yardenit
Today after breakfast drive to Mt. Tabor, the site of the Miracle of the Transfiguration. Take a Boat Ride on the Sea of Galilee with time for prayer and reflection.  Enjoy a traditional St. Peter’s Fish Lunch. After lunch continue to “Yardenit” traditional Baptismal Site. Return to hotel for dinner and overnight.

29 Dec: Cana, Nazareth, Muhraka, Caesarea
After breakfast drive to Cana, the site of the First Miracle where Jesus turned water into Wine.   Continue on to Nazareth to visit the Church of Annunciation.  Proceed to Muhraka on Mount Carmel where Elijah confronted the prophets of Baal.

Proceed to Caesarea, ancient excavated city with many Roman and Crusader ruins.   Transfer to the Airport for your departure flight home.
